Dubai Municipality is responsible for unveiling the first Pond Park at Al Barsha, which is named as the Al Barsha Park Dubai. This beautiful park has a pond in the middle and is surrounded with fresh and green grass along with beautiful flowers. People usually prefer this park for jogging and walk, in morning or evening. Besides that the facility of basketball, football and volleyball also keeps everyone busy and enthusiastic. There are several other facilities that are expected to come in the near future.

History:
This pond park was inaugurated in the year 2008. The opening ceremony took place under the patronage of Crown Prince of Dubai and the chairperson of Dubai, Executive Council Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The park covers the area of 162 hectares. This is among the first eight parks that were opened by the Public Parks and Horticulture Department of Dubai Municpality. -

Ticket and Entry requirements:
You don’t need any entry fees for the admittance in the park. Yes, but if there's any private exhibition or event, tickets and entry requirements can be confirmed from the event's management. -

The park remains open from 8:00 am till 10:00 pm. -

Attraction in the Al Barsha Park Dubai:
Besides cycling and jogging track, volleyball, football and basketball courts are also available within the park. Two fully equipped gymnasiums for men and women along with boating and floating restaurant are present within the premises of the park. -

How to Get to Al Barsha Park Dubai:
If you wish to travel by a bus, then take bus number F33 from Mall Of Emirates Metro Station 4. It will drop you at 23rd St. from there head south on 24th St and then take a right turn you will reach at the park. Total 7 minutes walk is required to cover 600 meters View Larger Map.
