Earls Court Exhibition Center is one of the biggest event venues in London. On an average the venue hosts about 3 million visitors with 30,000 exhibiting companies and around 1000 events every year. An interesting fact revealed by some studies indicates that out of every two Londoners one must visit the venue in a year at least.

History:
The Earls Court Exhibition Centre was opened for public for Chocolate and Confectionary show on September 1, 1937 and then Motor Show started in the winter of 1938. Despite having war and uncertainty, around 350,000 people attended the show. Shortly after that it went down in 1939 but didn’t receive any damages during the war. It came back with the Motor Show in 1947 whereby only British Industries participated.
Earls Court Exhibition Center underwent major developmental changes, i.e. in 1979; the Greater London Council spent £5m for Earls Court improvement programme, Jeffrey Sterling’s company after merging with P&O planned Earls Court Two with investment of around £100m.
Recently, the exhibition center underwent major improvements in order to host 2012 London Olympics Volleyball games.

The major events that the venue hosts regularly are the British Motor Show, London Boat Show, the Ideal Home Show, the Great British Beer Festival, the London Book Fair and the Good Food Show. How to Get There:
By Tube:
Earls Court is the nearest tube station to the venue. From the station exit, the Earl Courts One is directly opposite, while to reach Earls Court Two you need to exit on Warwick Road and walk down the left side of the building.
By Bus:
Bus numbers 74, 190, 328, 430, C1, C3, N31 and N74 will take you to the destination. Either drop by on Warwick Road and walk towards Earls Court Road or drop directly at Earls Court Road, and venue is in front of you!
