ExceL Exhibition Centre London
ExCeL London is one of major venue for large exhibitions, conferences and other cultural events. The venue is located in the London Borough of Newham and is spread over around 100 acres, i.e. 0.4 km2. England. ExCel is exactly at Royal Victoria Dock right between London City Airport and the Canary Wharf and is currently owned by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.
Being one of the biggest event venues in the city ExCel has engaged a huge number of local populations in employment. Besides creating job opportunities and contributing to the economy ExCel also works on innovation and thus recycles food waste into nutrition rich soil, works on energy efficiency and promotes number of talent events including Britain’s got Talent.

History:
Built by Sir Robert McAlpine, ExCel was opened for general public in November 2000. It was acquired by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company in 2008 and then underwent major expansion phases and as a result the venue has huge meeting & event space, banqueting and many other facilities. Being a spacious venue ExCel was selected to host some ring events of 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics games.

Step 6 How to Get There:
By Tube:
Canning Town tube station is the nearest rapid transit location. Exit on Silvertown Way/A1011 and start walking towards Peto Street. Keep walking till you see Tidal Basin Road. Now turn on Tidal Basin Road and take a right turn on Western Gateway and road will take you right in front of ExCel. Find walking directions to the destination!
By Bus:
Custom House, ExCel Olympic Shuttle Stops E and W Bound are the nearest bus stops where you can reach via bus numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15.
