Following are some easy recipes that you can work with for Valentine’s Day cookies without having to spend a lot of time.

Ingredients Required:
a: Shaped cutters (1)
b: powdered sugar (1.5 cups)
c: Egg (1)
d: Vanilla (1 tea-spoon)
e: Almond (0.5 table spoon)
f: Tartar cream (1 teaspoon)
g: Butter (1 cup)
h: Flour (2.5 cups)
i: Baking soda (1 tea-spoon)

The first thing you need for making cookies is a set of cutters in shapes related to Valentine's Day. Heart shaped cookie cutters are the easiest to find and should suffice for our purposes.

Keep the butter at normal temperature so that you can beat it well as it melts.

Take 1 cup of butter and then mix it with 1.5 cups of powdered sugar. After a thorough beating of the ingredients, add 1 egg in it, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 0.5 teaspoon of almond extract.

Take another cup, mix 2.5 cups flour, 1 teaspoon or baking soda and 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar.

Take the whole of this mixture and combine it with the previous mixture of butter.

Divide the complete mixture into three parts respectively.

Now you have to roll and flatten the mixture with a roller before cutting out heart shaped pieces using the cookie cutters.

Now you need to bake the cut outs for about eight minutes in an oven at 350 degrees.
