Snaresbrook tube station is located in Snaresbrook under the authority of London Borough of Redbridge. The station was opened in 1856 and is served by Central Line between Leytonestone and South Woodford tube stations. It was opened as part of Eastern Counties Railways on branch to Loughton and in 1923, the company was merged with London & North Eastern Railway. The station was later shifted to London Underground’s Central Line in 1947, and was reconstructed in 1893, now having main entrance from North side of High Street which is used by travelers to enter in ticket hall and the same way is used for exit. Travelers can use one more entrance of the station through Station Approach and Car Parking, and they can use the South side of High Street to enter and exit from the station in the mornings only.
