How to Do the Magic Partner Card Trick
This is a simple type of self-working card trick that works on its own, as the name implies. As in the case of many other card tricks, you need to have a spectator so as to witness how the trick is played. If you are a performer, then let a spectator shuffle the cards to ensure all the cards in the deck are randomly placed. After that, choose any two cards from the top of the deck and place them inside the cards one by one wherever the spectator wants. As you bring them out with the other two cards adjacent to them, they will be the same cards with different suits.

Ask the spectator to shuffle the cards to make him feel satisfied that all of them are evenly placed in the deck, and you have no idea about their locations.

Once shuffling is done, take the cards in your hands and pick the two top cards from the deck. Let us suppose you picked 7 of Hearts and 2 of Clubs.

Now start dealing all cards on the table and ask the spectator to stop you where he wants the cards to be placed. And then place two cards with their faces up in two intervals.

After you have placed the cards in the deck as per the spectator’s wish, fan them on the table such that you are easily able to see the two cards that have been placed earlier inside the deck with their faces up.

With all the cards fanned on the table, ask the spectator to pick them in such a way that the two cards are picked, with one card covering their faces.

As you turn those two cards, the spectator will be surprised to see that the other two cards are 2 of Spades and 7 of Diamonds.
