How to Make Delicious Mashed Potatoes

Yukon gold potatoes: 1 ½ lbs
Salt: ½ teaspoon
Heavy cream: 4 tablespoons
Butter: 2 tablespoons

    First of all, fill a medium pot with water and place it on stove to boil.

    In the meantime, peel the 1 ½ lbs of Yukon gold potatoes, using a sharp knife.

    Set the peeled potatoes on a cutting board and cut them into length-wise quarters.

    Place the potato slices in a colander and rinse well with water.

    Drain the potato cubes and add them to the boiling water.

    Sprinkle a half teaspoon of salt over the top, set the pot’s lid at the top and let the potatoes simmer until tender and soft.
