How to Turn an iPhone Into a USB Keyboard
If you have an Apple iPhone, then you can make use of it as a keyboard for your computer. You simply need to buy the application from the App Store, install it and use your computer shared Wi-Fi connection to connect PC to your iPhone. After making connection, you can use your iPhone as keyboard.

Go to App Store
First of all press the ‘Home’ button and you will go to the opening page of your iPhone. Find the ‘App Store’ icon on your screen and then tap it. This will open the App Store application. -

Search iTap in the App Store
After opening the App Store application, browse the phone to keyboard converting application. Tap on the search icon and then in the text field write ‘iTap’. Then tap the search button which is located in the lower right corner of the screen. After a while, the iTap application will appear. -

Buy the iTap application
Next you need to get the iTap: Wi-Fi touchpad application and download it into your computer. You have to purchase this application which costs $3.99. Tap ‘$3.99’ and then tap ‘Buy Now’.
You will be required to enter your iTunes account password. After logging into your account, tap ‘OK’ to start the installation process. -

Go to Wi-Fi tab
After buying the Application you need to make sure that your Wi-Fi is switched on. Click the Settings icon and the go the Wi-Fi tab. Tap the Wi-Fi tab to advance. -

Enable Wi-Fi and connect the USB cable
Turn on your Wi-Fi by simply sliding your finger in front of the Wi-Fi tab. Then connect your iPhone to your computer with the USB cable.
You have to tap Join after enabling Wi-Fi. -

Install software in computer
Next you need to download the iTap receiver application in your computer. After downloading it, install it and open the application. -

Connect both devices
Configure your iPhone in the iTap list on your computer and then you can use your iPhone as a keyboard. You have to click ‘Pair with Selected Device’ in the end and have to make sure you are connected with same Wi-Fi network.
