3 Atlanta Honda Dealerships

Choosing the right car dealer is almost more important than choosing the right car. As far as the right car, it’s hard to beat a Honda for the price. I’ve heard many a dealer say, that if you change the oil and keep up on maintence, these cars will easily go a hundred thousand miles. That’s pretty impressive. Not only that, but they look good and have great gas milage, as well as hybrids for the environmentaly conscience.

The city of Atlanta is full of car dealers, some family owned and operated, and others run by large public corporations. Depending upon the buyer, you may like to actually be treated like family, or you might enjoy the anynimoty of a chain store. There really aren’t any stores within the city limits, but the vast majority are right outside the perimeter with easy access from the highway.

Ed Voyles Honda is the closest to the city itself, and is the flagship store of the Ed Voyles company. It has a clean, modern feel and is well lit with natural light, which can be very important. It also boasts one of the largest body shops in the world. The salesmen are low pressure, they want to make a sale, but only to someone who wants to buy. This store is also one of the places in Atlanta to view real vintage posters. From cars, to planes, and travel, this store is a vertitable gallery. Shoppers can also chill on plush sofas and watch tv as they eat free popcorn and enjoy complimentary cold bottled water. This dealership has been family run since the beginning and is currently run by a second generation dealer. I’ve had four cars from the Ed Voyles family, and couldn’t be happier.

Another great store is Honda Carland. Aside from their annoying jingle, it really is a decent store, and does great in the volume department. This store isn’t open as late as others, but it does have good service hours. The drawback to this store is its distance from the city. This store caters mostly to the suburbs of Atlanta. The staff is friendly and not overly pushy. The building isn’t that spacious though and has the steryo-typical car dealer vibe. This store has however, earned the President’s Award for customer satisfaction.

Last but not least, is Team Honda. This store is one of those number driven store where the “team” has a high percentage of overturn. The hours are the same as everyone elses, and there just isn’t really anything that makes this store stand out as opposed to other stores.

All in all, it depends on what is the best match for you. Know though, that dealers really don’t have it out for you, and trying to make them undercut each other is tacky and not appreciated. For the most part it is the customers that give the business a bad name. No one at these stores is out to get you, remember that.
