4TheKids Missing Kid Services

Patty Beeken and Dean Powers founded 4TheKids Missing Kid Services in 1999 after Patty’s daughter, Jessica, ran away from home and was missing for several months in 1998.

4TheKids now offers free services to families with missing children. Their wish is that no parent ever feels alone in the quest to return his or her child home safely. They offer many services such as: fliers distribution, the missing child’s website, communication, investigative services for cases that meet the criteria, and community education about internet safety and being proactive for a missing child.

4TheKids has had several events where we gave out free Identakits along with various information documents to the public. We furnish public speakers to schools, organizations and businesses. 4TheKids also offers assistance and training to law enforcement agencies and other related organizations.

By the beginning of 2006 4TheKids had actively worked over 115 missing child cases, offering our assistance to various law enforcement agencies including many small police departments across the USA, the FBI, many State Bureaus of Investigation and various non-profit organizations.

4TheKids Missing Kid Services has some criteria that cases must meet to be considered for our assistance. There can be no ongoing custody battle, there must be a report filed with a law enforcement agency, and parents must sign and notarize our permission release to use the child’s picture and allow us to work with law enforcement as one of the parent’s representatives.

But our main desire is prevention through public awareness and education. Knowledge is power. Please visit our web-site for more detailed information.
