Post Event Thank You Email

Events, such as dinners, company parties and birthdays are part and parcel of every person’s life. While most events normally follow a routine pattern, there are some which bedazzle us and a nice way to appreciate the effort of event organizers is to write an event thank you email.

In the first paragraph of the email, thank to the organizers and appreciate their efforts which led to the succes of the event. Do not write long sentences in the opening paragraph as it is only intended to let the reader know why the email was written. Use short sentences and write in a manner compelling enough to force the reader into going through the entire email.

The second paragraph should include the details of the event. If the event required some technical expertise, mention it in your email and appreciate the organizers for this.  Be sure to stick to the facts.

Conclude the email by expressing your gratitude for the organizers once again. The last paragraph should be short.

    Dear Mr. Colin Jackson,

    I am writing on behalf of my company, New Fabrics, to thank you for arranging such a wonderful seminar. The event was way above our expectations and all the guests present at the event were more than happy. The credit for this solely goes to you and your dedicated team.

    We were a bit perplexed over how to arrange such a big event, as we had invited guests from all across the country, but your support and service worked wonders and everything went according to the plan. The presentation, visual aids, decoration, sound system and refreshment put the guests at ease and best of all, we were able to reach to new clients and vendors thanks to your efforts.

    I thank you once again and will be keeping in touch with you for our next event, which is scheduled for December this year.

    I am writing on behalf of my firm, ___________, to thank you for organizing the seminar last week. I must say that everything went great and our experience was amazing as you helped us win over new clients and prospective partners.

    The seminar, which was intended to search for new clients and partners for our business, did better than our expectations. Most important of all, the arrangements and amenities made the guests feel at home. Our directors have also appreciated your efforts and decent service.
