Laryngitis is the inflammation of the larynx, usually caused by cold. It manifests itself in the form of pain when swallowing and feeling soreness in throat. The pain is sometimes accompanied by a dry or wet cough.

Laryngitis is the acute inflammation of the mucous membrane of the larynx and this disease can occur in both adults and young children. The main symptoms of the disease include a barking cough, asthma attacks and chest pain. It may also cause high temperature. Kids can develop false croup during the disease which often leads to intensive care.
