How to Remove Paint From a Handbag
Paint stains are always tough to remove, even more so when your handbag gets stained. One of the most important determinants is the type of material your handbag is made of. Some materials require a lot of effort to rub off paint stains and problems arise when the handbag is of materials like leather etc. In addition to this, the type of paint also matters a lot. While paints can be of various types, oil paints are the most difficult to deal with.
While removing such stains try to remove the paint as soon as your handbag catches the stain. The earlier you remove it, the easier it will be. However, in case you spot the paint later, you will need to first scrap it with the help of a blade. Once you scrap the hardened layer, you might need to use water and glycerin to get the paint off.
Things Required:
– Glycerin
– Piece of cloth(White in color)
– Blade or scrapper
– Water in a bucket

Scrap the stain with a blade or scrapper. This will help in removing the top layer quicker. Perform this step only if the paint is dry, otherwise skip step 1 and 2 and directly start from step 3.

Now sprinkle a little water over the stain to make it a little damp. Make sure that you sprinkle a little water and try getting the paint off before adding more.

Once the stain gets damp, its time to rub some glycerin on it. Take a white piece of cloth and apply some glycerin on it before rubbing it on the stain. Make sure that you do this gently by rubbing it in circular strokes. Keep on doing this until the stain is completely removed.

When the stain goes away leave it and let it dry.
