    Chamomile and mint cleanser

In a medium sized cooking pot, combine 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers and half a cup of fresh chopped mint with four cups of water, and bring the mixture to a boil over medium high heat. Now, reduce the heat to medium and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the concoction from the heat and allow the herbs to sit and steep for another five minutes before straining the mixture into a jar. Cover the jar with an airtight lid and store in the refrigerator. This cleanser can be used for up to two weeks. Using a cotton ball, apply this cleanser to your face just like any store bought facial cleanser.

Oil-based chamomile cleanser for dry skin

This oil-based cleanser is best for dry skin. Pour 1/3 cup each of safflower oil, almond oil and wheat germ oil into a dry, clean jar. Using a long handled spoon, stir the oils to combine. Add chamomile flowers to the jar, enough to fill it to the top. Then, cover the jar and store it in the fridge. Apply the chamomile infused oil mixture to your face using a cotton ball, and wipe off the dirt and dead cells along with the oil.

    Creamy chamomile cleanser

Combine one ounce of lanolin, one ounce of butter and 4 tablespoons of sweet almond oil in a small mixing bowl. Place this concoction in a pan of boiling water and allow it to melt, stirring occasionally. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in 4 tablespoons of chamomile infusion. Beat the mixture with a hand whisk for 3 to 5 minutes, or until well blended. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before you pour it into a jar with an airtight lid. Store the cleanser in the refrigerator and shake well before each use.
