    For executing the three player weave in basketball, the first player holds the basketball and stands on the baseline, under one of the baskets in the full basketball court.

    The position of the second player has to be 15 to 18 feet away from the first player, along the baseline towards the right of the first player.

    The third basketball player has to stand 15 to 18 feet away, towards the left of the first player, along the baseline.

    The second player starts to cut towards the free throw line and in the process, the first player by whom the basketball is held, throws a chest pass towards the second player.

    As soon as the pass is thrown towards the second player, the first player cuts behind the second player in a swift motion and in the line where the second player was originally positioned.

    Once the second player has received the pass, the third player starts to cut towards the middle of the basketball court and in the process; the second player throws the basketball towards the third player.

    After throwing the basketball towards the third player, the second player cuts behind the third player swiftly and in the line where the third player was originally positioned.

    Upon receiving the pass from the second player, the third player throws the basketball towards the first player while the first player is in the process of cutting towards the centre of the basketball court.

    This process continues until all three players involved reach the other basket in the basketball court. The final chest pass is made to the player by whom the court is being traversed for a layup.
