Go to the official eBay website and sign in to your eBay account using your username and the password.

Browse through the list of items up for sale in order to find the item you are planning to purchase. Alternatively, you also have the option to perform a pin point search by typping the item name in the search tab .
Once you have found the item for which you plan to bid, place it on your ‘Watch’ page. This can be accomplished by clicking ‘Watch this item’. -

Start bidding by placing the highest bid. You can wait and see if other prospective buyers try to beat your bid or not. Alternatively, you can also choose the option labelled ‘Buy It Now’. This will immediately end the auction and you will be required to make the necessary payment. However, this option is not available for all eBay auctions.
