How to Make a Round Tablecloth
A round table will never find its true grace until you place a decent tablecloth over it. Making a tablecloth at home is not difficult and you will need a set of things to make the task possible. Measure the diameter of the round table and buy fabric twice its size. You must sew the panels to a square piece of fabric that covers the table top. Attach borders to further decorate the tablecloth.

1
Determine the diameter of the table
First of all, you need to determine the diameter of the table on which the tablecloth has to be placed. Measure the diameter of the table with the help of a tape measure and also note down the length of the table from the floor. This will help you when you want to determine the fabric you need. -
2
Determine the fabric required
The fabric totally depends on the type of tablecloth you need. You need to measure the length to which you want the fabric to fall. Some tablecloths fall just below the table top whereas some touch the floor. Whatever the length is, buy double the length of fabric. -
3
Cut and sew the fabric
It is important to make a square shape and cut the fabric accordingly. The square’s width should be equal to the diameter of the table. Use the side that is longer in the centre and attach borders or strips to the other side if it falls short. Make sure you iron the fabric before doing this. -
4
Sew the panels
Stitch the panels you have prepared with the fabric placed in the centre. You need to sew the panels to the border of the square piece placed in the middle of the table. -
5
Place it on the table
Once you have sewn the panels together and the borders are done, place the tablecloth on the table to check whether it is of the perfect size or not.
