Chicken casserole is an all-time favourite as it can be served with any side dish including chips, rice, noodles or even tortillas. In addition to this you can always make it different by adding a new flavour each time. Just add any of the different varieties of soups like Thai, Mexican or hot and sour soup as you can simply add the left overs in the refrigerator so the choice is yours!
Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken breasts (cooked) - 4 pieces
  • Cream of chicken soup - 1 can
  • Sour cream - 1 cup
  • Ritz crackers - 25
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Butter (molten) - ½ cup
Instructions
  1. First of all set the oven to 350 degrees F and let it heat up for some time.
  2. In the meanwhile add some water in a saucepan and add chicken in it. Let it cook on low heat.
  3. Once the chicken gets tender take it out in a casserole dish and add salt and ground black pepper according to taste.
  4. Now pour cream of chicken soup and sour cream over the chicken.
  5. Next take a pack of Ritz crackers and hold it from the middle and smash with your hands. This will break down all the crackers into crumbs. Carefully open this pack from one end and add all the crumbs over the chicken.
  6. Top it with ½ cup of butter and cover it with aluminium foil.
  7. Next, put it in the oven and bake it until it turns brown. This might take around 30 minutes.
  8. Finally when done, take it out and serve hot.
