How to Make Beef with Broccoli Stir-Fry

A beef with broccoli stir fry is an extremely healthy dish from Chinese cuisine. Luckily, preparing beef with broccoli stir fry is not as hard as some of you may think. The ingredients used in this recipe are readily available. Beef is a source of valuable proteins whereas broccoli is a power vegetable which is both light and tasty. Utensils: Measuring spoons, cutting boards, measuring cups, mixing bowls, Chef’s Knives, woks

Ingredients:
Garlic cloves – peeled and minced: 2
Salt: 1 ½ tablespoons
Freshly chopped ginger: 1 tablespoon
Cornstarch: 3 tablespoons
Broccoli florets: 1lb
Peanut oil: 3 tablespoons
Soy sauce: 1 ½ tablespoons
Green onions – green tops sliced into thin rings: 1 bunch
Beef broth: 1 c.
Beef chuck – sliced into 1-by-1/8-inch pieces: 1 ½ lbs.
Toasted white sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons
Chinese rice wine (Shaoxing): 1 ½ tablespoons

    Add soy sauce, rice wine and cornstarch to a large sized bowl and stir the ingredients thoroughly. Mix in the meat and continue to stir until the meat is completely coated with the soy sauce, cornstarch and rice wine.

    Marinate the meat for at least 30 minutes and continue to prepare the other ingredients meanwhile. It is recommended that you make sure everything is ready before you start to cook your beef with broccoli stir fry.

    Pour some oil into a large heated wok. Add small pieces of ginger and garlic, and then mix in salt to taste. Wait for the garlic to turn golden brown in colour. Add beef along with the marinade and continue to stir on medium heat.

    Stir fry the beef for 4 minutes before adding broccoli to the wok. Do not stir fry the vegetable for more than 2 minutes. Add the broth to the pan and wait for the mixture to boil. Cook the ingredients for about five minutes or until the broccoli gets tender. Garnish with chopped green onions and white toasted sesame seeds. Serve hot.
