How to Make Pelmeni Russian Food

Pelmeni is a dumpling filled with meat, wrapped in thin dough and boiled in water or chicken stock. It is a Russian dish similar to Chinese pot stickers and is also known as Siberian dumplings. Pelmeni are great to serve when you have friends or family coming over for dinner. If you follow this simple technique, making Pelmeni will be easy to do.

Ingredients
All-purpose flour: 2 cups
Cold water or milk: 1 cup
Eggs: 3
Ground beef: ½ pound
Ground pork: ½ pound
Onion: 1 small-sized
Garlic clove: 1
Salt: to taste
Pepper: to taste

    Make the dough

    First make the dough for your Russian dumplings. Add flour on the large board and make an indentation in order to hold the eggs. Now take the three eggs and after cracking, place them in the indentation. Then mix it gradually with a fork while slowly adding the flour.

    Next add one cup of cold water or milk in the dough. Press the dough after adding the liquid.
