How to Become a Remarkably Productive Person

Have you seen a person who wakes up at six in the morning, goes for a morning jog, then indulges in a workout session, take his breakfast, goes to office where his job demands excessive multi tasking, comes back home, does some chores, spends good time with his family, watches movies and TV, reads books and still finds enough time to take 7 to 8 hours of sleep. If you haven’t, rest assured that there are many such people out there and they follow this routine on daily basis.

But, how do they achieve this?

The answer is simple – by staying productive. Doing so is however not that easy. It requires a person to make some important organizational changes in his or her life, which off course is easier said than done.

Instructions

  • 1

    Prioritize

Prioritizing is the key to a successful and productive life. You should always be control of your schedule and know which things stand where. For example, when it comes to watching TV or tutoring your child from 2000 to 2100 hrs, you should be very clear about which thing is more important. This will help to shuffle your routine in a more productive way.

  • 2

Only Do Things in Which You Are Efficient

You can’t be perfect at everything. In fact, there will be some things which you will never be able to grasp. It is therefore for you to decide your bandwidth and interest. If you want to stay productive, it is recommended that you remove all the time taking and arduous interest from your routine.

  • 3

    Integrate

People always recommend developing a balance between personal and professional life. Sure it can be done, but it takes a lot of effort and time. For better productivity, you should try to build your personal life around people who are also there in your professional life or share the same interests and hobbies as you do. The will allow you to complement your productivity.

  • 4

    Take a Chill Pill

Try to relax and chill out. The best way to tackle any situation is to take it head on and if failure comes take them on your chin. There are some things which are just part of your fate and no matter how hard you try, they just had to happen. So, rather sulking and pouting, move on and focus on the other important things in your life.  Life is too short to spend it worrying about things.
