When strawberries are in season, do not miss the chance to enhance their vibrant color with almond cream. Strawberries Filled with Almond Cream not only look amazing but are delicious and nutritious treats. You can serve them on various occasions including, holidays, engagement parties, wedding ceremonies, baby showers, or simply any time when you want to present your guests or family members with something out of the ordinary.
Ingredients
  • Jumbo strawberries – 25
  • Heavy whipping cream – ¾ cup
  • Milk – ¾ cup
  • Vanilla instant pudding – 1 small box
  • Almond extract ½ teaspoon
Instructions
  1. Select 25 fresh jumbo strawberries and place them in a fruit colander.
  2. Now, wash the strawberries with cold fresh water and drain them thoroughly.
  3. Wipe them and dry with a clean piece of cloth or paper towel.
  4. Take a sharp paring knife and cut off the stems of the strawberries.
  5. Use the same knife and gently cut an "x" deep into the fresh strawberries, making sure not to cut them all the way down. Set the strawberries until you prepare the almond cream.
  6. Take a large bowl and place ¾ cup of heavy whipping cream in it and blend it with a whisk until firm peaks are formed.
  7. Set it aside as well.
  8. Grab another bowl and pour in ¾ cup of milk.
  9. Top the milk with 1 small box of vanilla instant pudding and mix them until smooth and creamy.
  10. Add in ½ teaspoon of almond extract and whisk for two more minutes.
  11. Stir in the previously prepared whipped cream and mix the two mixtures until incorporates well.
  12. Pick an empty pastry bag and gently pour in the almond cream mixture.
  13. Now, pick up the strawberries one by one and gently pipe the cream into them, dispersing the petals of strawberries with your fingertips in order to allow more cream to fit in.
  14. Place your gorgeous strawberries in a large serving plate and garnish with fresh mint leaves, placing them all around the strawberries.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
