Fennel and Bean Salad Recipe
Fennel and bean salad is a side dish that is usually served when chilled. It is typically prepared by adding spices in it and the best thing about the salad is that it is prepared in no time. All you have to do is to arrange all the ingredients before hand and start making it. Today, we will see how to prepare it; however you can bring any variation to this salad by adding anything as you like. So let’s get started and see how to prepare the fennel and bean salad.

Utensils: Mortar and Pestle, Chopping Board. Chopping Knife, Salad Serving Platter/Bowl, Serving Spoon
Ingredients:
2-3 Fennel Bulbs
1 cup cooked White Beans
1 cup cooked Green Beans
1 to 2 tablespoon Peri Peri Sauce
¼ cup Chopped Garlic
¼ cup Lemon Juice
¼ cup chopped tomatoes
¼ cup chopped onions
½ cup coriander leaves
¼ cup Olive Oil
Salt (To Taste)
Grounded black pepper (To Taste)

Take the fennel bulbs, core and chop them into thin segments and then set them aside.

Now heat the oil in a frying pan and add the thinly chopped slices of fennel in it and sauté. As they turn light golden in color start adding the chopped garlic and fry for 1 to 2 minutes and put turn the flame low.

In a salad serving bowl add the peri peri sauce, to taste salt and pepper the stated amount of lemon juice, chopped tomatoes and red onions and toss well.

By the time the fennel and the garlic are almost done so take them off the flame and add them into the mixture that you have just prepared and again toss.

Now sprinkle the coriander leaves from the top and the salad is ready to be served.
It is optional to refrigerate it for about half an hour before serving.
