Review of Satya Sai Baba Incense- Romance

Ever since discovering that the company that makes Nag Champa, had more than just 1 fragrance of incense available, I went on an all out binge and bought every single scent I could find that belonged to the Satya Sai Baba family.

After burning many scents, and finding that most of them smelled like very slight tweaked versions of Nag Champa, I was beyond pleasantly surprised when I lit my first stick of Romance. There was nothing Nag Champa like about this scent, but it definitely became my top favorite scent in the entire Satya Sai Baba collection of incense sticks.

Romance comes in a pink box, and the moment I tore the box open and sniffed the delights that resided inside, I was not sure if I would like it. Romance, unlit, had a very rose like quality about it, and I mostly worried about it smelling like an old woman’s house, or worse.

Satya Sai Baba, Jasmine Blossom smelled decent in the box, and when lit it smelled like cat urine. Due to this bad experience, I imagined every floral scented incense stick by Satya Sai Baba would smell bad when lit.

Romance however was like magic. The moment I lit the stick, the room began to flood with the most beautiful and velvety woodsy rose scent I had ever smelled. It had a very charming old world vibe to it, both majestic and feminine.

To better describe it, I would say that it smells like fresh cut roses, but nothing too floral or overpowering.

The rose scent is then mixed with a quaint cedarwood burning on an open flame. The mix is simply delicious, and whenever this one is burning anyone whom in my home begs to know what it is. It’s a secret I would rather keep to myself, but it is so good I cannot hog it.

Burning time on this incense stick, and all other Satya Sai Baba sticks is around 45 minutes till it goes out. However, even after this one is burned out, the scent will linger around for about an hour.

Overall:

If you are a fan of Satya Sai Baba, in the Nag Champa scent, you will likely find a top spot in your heart for Romance, possibly even knocking Nag Champa down off of the pedestal.
