Top Portable Appliances Under $300.00

Being a renter some of my options on major appliances was somewhat limited. I didn’t want to spend money on something I would be leaving behind when I moved. I also didn’t want to give the landlord a reason to raise my rent by asking for appliances either. I was in quite a pickle as I hated going to the laundrymat as well as washing dishes. I soon learned that there was a whole world of portable appliances that could solve all of my cleaning issues. These are a few that I really found to be handy and at a affordable price.

Danby Portable Dishwasher, 8 Place Settings. I simply love having a portable dishwasher, it is so nice to throw the dishes in and go. With a portable dishwasher, you place a hose under your kitchen faucet which serves 2 purposes. The first is to get the water to wash the dishes, the second purpose is to drain the dishwater down the sink. It is easy to attach and draining is never a mess. My favorite features on this machine include, 5 wash programs to choose from, 4 diiferent temperature settings, a safety lock door that must be closed for the machine to run and a adjustable upper dishrack. I also like the fact that I can entertain guests and be able to fit all the dishes in this dishwasher.

Haier 6.6-lb Capacity Portable Top Load Clothes Washer. This is perfect for the single person or the person who washes small loads frequently. It also hooks right up to the sink and rolls away easily when not in use. It features 4 wash cycles, 2 water level selections and you can choose cold, warm, or hot water. I like the fact that it is smaller and fits well into small spaces. WIth most colleges having apartment style housing this would be a great gift for the college bound.

Haier Stationary Clothes Dryer, 11-Pound Capacity. This is the companion to the portable clothes washer. What is great is you can stack this dryer to save space or use it standing by itself. I also like that it is a electric dryer so you can plug it into any 220 volt outlet and be good to go. If you don’t have a 220 outlet, you can easily buy a power strip that has them on there. This dryer features a indicator that lights when it is times to clean the filter as well as different dry time options. My favorite part is the glass window. I have always liked watching the clothes spin dry and whith the window you are able to view that. This dryer is also great for just throwing in towels to heat them to have a nice warm towel after a shower.

These are just a few of the portable appliances that I have found, there are more coming out all the time.
