New Hallmark Original Movies for the Holiday Season

Christmas trees, Santa, and jolly store window displays are a few of the things spotlighted in new Hallmark Original Movies this holiday season. Celebrities names you might recognize that are starring in these movies are Candace Cameron-Bure, Alan Thicke, Sean Astin, Olympia Dukakis, and Naomi Judd to name a few.

Finding Christmas
Premieres Sunday, December 15 at 8:00pm
A Hallmark Original Movie starring Tricia Helfer, J.T. Hodges, Mark Lutz and Cristina Rosato.
For a change of pace during the hectic Christmas season Sean and Owen swap houses, one in New York and the other in North Carolina. While there, they each find someone they fall head-over-heels for. But can the relationship continue when the guys have to return to their own homes thus leaving the girls behind?

Fir Crazy
Premieres Sunday, November 24 at 8:00pm
A Hallmark Original Movie starring Sarah Lancaster.
A store owner who hosts a Christmas tree lot on his block decides he wants to shut it down. Now it is up to Elise to find a way to help him rekindle his Christmas Spirit and save her family’s seasonal business.

Hats off to Christmas
Premieres Saturday, December 14 at 8:00pm
A Hallmark Original Movie starring Haylie Duff and Antonio Cupo.
Mia is the assistant manager at the Santa Hat Factory who is up for a promotion. But Mia gets upset when she is told to train the bosses’ son, Nick, for the position instead. As Mia spends time training Nick, she soon develops feelings for him.

Let it Snow
Premieres Saturday, November 30 at 8/7c
A Hallmark Original Movie starring Candace Cameron-Bure and Alan Thicke.
A resort executive is sent to Maine to renovate an old lodge her company just purchased and give it modern day appeal. When she arrives, instead of an old stuffy lodge she finds a homey, charming, and very successful lodge full of holiday spirit. Will she follow her bosses’ orders or find a way to convince him to keep the lodge as it is?

Santa Switch
Premieres Saturday, December 7 at 8:00pm
A Hallmark Channel Original Movie starring Sean Astin, Ethan Erickson, Anne Dudek, Annie Thurman and Griffin Cleveland.
Dan, a down on his luck unemployed, divorced father can’t even land a job playing Santa at Christmastime. But then the real Kris Kringle visits from the North Pole and leaves Dan in charge while he takes a short break. Kris also leaves elf Eddie with Dan to lend him a hand, but how much ‘help’ is Eddie?

The Christmas Spirit
Premieres Sunday, December 1 at 8:00pm
A Hallmark Channel Original Movie starring Nicolette Sheridan and Olympia Dukakis.
Charlotte is a distinguished journalist out to save a quiet New England town from a ruthless real estate developer, but a terrible car accident puts her plans into a spin.

Window Wonderland
Premieres Saturday, November 23 @ 8:00pm
A Hallmark Channel Original Movie starring Chyler Leigh and Naomi Judd.
Sloan Van Doren is an assistant department store window decorator who has her eyes on the recently vacated head window designer position. She has to prove herself by competing against her rival Jake, who she finds she has much in common with.

Other new movies to look for which have already premiered include “A Very Merry Mix-Up,” “Catch a Christmas Star,” “Hitched for the Holidays,” “Pete’s Christmas,” “Matchmaker Santa,” “Snow Bride,” and “The Christmas Ornament.”
