Hotels in Historic Downtown Boston

For the traveler with an interest in American History, there can be few destinations more enriching than historic Downtown Boston. An easy stroll through the city, along a well marked route known as the Freedom Trail, lead visitors to and through sixteen historic sites, including the Boston Common and Public Gardens, the Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere’s house, the Old North Church, Old Ironsides, Faneuil Hall, and the Bunker Hill Monument.

Located on the Freedom Trail in just down the street from the Boston Common, the Parker House is also the first stop on the New England Literary Trail. Emerson, Thoreau, and Dickens all stayed there, and Malcolm X was at one time a bell boy.

Directly across the street from historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, the Millennium Boston is situated in the perfect location for history enthusiasts with children. For a sense of Boston history, there can be no more authentic a setting than a stay in the newly renovated Custom House.
