The 2005 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor Sports Sedan
After a few weeks in the new 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor, I must say that I am amazed at what Mercedes was able to create in what was supposed to be another boring yet luxurious sedan. This car has unbelievable handling characteristics equipped with street tuned suspension parts and a stiff chassis. All resulting in less body roll and good high speed stability. The exceptional qualities of this compact sports sedan are better yet realized in knowing that this smooth and refined body claims an astonishing 0.27 drag coefficient.
Although this Mercedes is good looker and nimble in corners, it lacks one thing…power. But no need to worry, you can upgrade this 189HP supercharged four-cylinder motor and everything else beyond the point of ludicrous through several different aftermarket parts manufacturers (Brabus, Carlsson, etc). These tuners and retailers specialize on this car and should be able to provide the owner with enough excitement to last a long while.
This sporty sedan is definitely a remarkable performer for the amount you pay. Starting at just under $30K, the W203 (chassis) is definitely a best bang for the buck candidate.
