Beauty Salons in Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls is a great place for a wind farm. Of course, you know what that does to your hair style! Even though there are several beauty salons in Idaho Falls, I recommend the following three places to remedy the bad hair day.

If you enjoy going to a beauty salon that has chic atmosphere, Bella Capelli is for you. It is located in charming, historic downtown Idaho Falls at 446 Park Avenue. The salon is tastefully decorated with Italian tile and lots of greenery. You will feel pampered the minute you walk in the door. Bella Capelli is not a large salon with only about five stylists. They are open Tuesday thru Saturday. Some of their stylists come in as early as 7:00am and stay as late as 7:00pm by special appointment. A basic cut and style ranges from $18 to $28 depending on your stylist and worth every penny. They also have a nail technician on site. An appointment is definitely recommended. Give them a call at 529-4247.

The Centennial Salon is a bit more casual, but their stylists are still of high caliber. You will find this beauty salon on the south end of town at 350 W. Sunnyside Road. Their dÃ?©cor and atmosphere is a little more retro with canary and lavender floor tiles. These match the yellow walls and purple cutouts behind the mirrors in each station. Even though each styling area is semi-private, you still get the feeling of being at a big girl party. Centennial Salon has room for around eight stylists, however, there usually aren’t that many working at the same time. They are open Monday thru Saturday with some stylists working from 9:00am to as late as 7:00pm if necessary. The average price of a basic cut and style is $25.00, depending on the stylist. Walk-ins are welcome here, but call ahead if you have a time consuming process or style to be done. Their phone number is 542-1382. This beauty salon also has a nail technician.

If you find yourself in need of hair care on the weekend, the Great Clips located at 371 N. Woodruff Avenue (next to the Winco grocery store) is your best bet. They are open Monday thru Sunday. Monday thru Friday they open at 9:00am. Monday thru Friday they take their last client at 8:30pm. On Saturday their last time slot is 5:30pm and on Sunday they are open 11:00am to 4:00pm. They have more turn over with their stylists but, my experience is that you still can get a pretty consistent cut. Most of their clientele are walk-ins so no appointment is necessary. Be prepared for a wait, however, on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. Even with eight stylists working on Saturday, they can be very busy. They charge $10.00 for a cut and $10.00 for a basic style. These prices do not include a shampoo. This beauty salon only does hair, they do not have a nail technician available.

Each of these beauty salons has a unique style of their own while providing quality service. I don’t think you would be disappointed with the service at any one of them.
