Win a Car! Help Build a Child’s Dream
What’s going on you might ask? Well, the PTO of St. Monica School is sponsoring a grand neighborhood carnival and raffle to raise money to expand school programs and enhance curriculum.
“We have some of the best and brightest students in Kansas City, they have dreams of becoming artists, doctors, lawyers, engineers and many other great things.” said Desire Hendricks, PTO coordinator. ” We are here to promote St. Monica and it’s students.” she said “That’s why we are calling it, ‘Best of the Best’ we have joined as a community to put our best forward for our best investment, our children.
Families coming out to 5809 Michigan will be able to let their children have some good safe fun. There will be pony rides, a moonwalk, games where the kids can win prizes and lots of other fun activities. Anyone 18 and over can purchase a $10 raffle ticket for a chance to win a new 2006 Nissan Sentra, provided by State Line Nissan. Second prize in the raffle is a new 27″ color television provided by Rent a Dent, Inc. Third prize is $75.
