How to Plan the Perfect Day at the Beach

Finally the sun is shining, the day is hot and you aren’t working. What a perfect combination for a day at the beach. But this is not to be just any day; this one is destined to be extra special as you’re going to the beach with a new love interest. This isn’t just a day for swimming; it’s a day for romance!

Organizing your rendezvous at the beach includes preparing a basket of food that will set the mood for the rest of the day. A carefully chosen food basket will make your visit to the beach even more enjoyable. Should you take a bottle of wine? Only if your planning on taking a cooler. It will be hot at the beach, that’s one of the reasons you’re going, and hot wine does not have a pleasing taste.

Make sure you have towels, both to lie on at the beach and to dry yourself off with after you swim. Taking two instead of one means you won’t have to lie on a wet towel after swimming. If the second towel is a bath sheet, meaning it’s nice and large; you might use it for sharing as you both relax under the warming sun.

One of the advantages of going to the beach during the week is that it will be less crowded. Weekends at the beach can be so overcrowded that finding a place to lie without being way to close to others is impossible. A special moment is hard to make if you can’t hear your beach partner even when you’re beside one another.

Leave your cell phone in the car. The last thing you need to interrupt your perfect day at the beach will be a call from the office that you need to take care of a work problem. That’s a definite mood breaker.
