Once a strawberry and melon farm in the 20s and 30s, Lavender Ridge Farms is now a “cut your own” farm. For just $6 a bunch, you can take home a sweet, soothing bouquet of this healing herb.

Lavender is known to calm your spirit and relax you to sleep. The oil repels insects, soothes scrapes and minor burns and is an antiseptic. It is even being tested for use as treatment for Cancer and Alzheimer’s disease!

Lavender also provides a beautiful floral note to meat dishes, adds a fresh twist to lemonade and can even be added to ice cream.

Lavender Ridge Farms has a gift shop with a variety of lavender products available for purchase. Handmade soaps, culinary lavender, lavender honey, essential oils, centerpieces, garlands and beautiful wreaths are just a few items in this fun and fragrant store.
