Questions to Ask Your Wedding Church/Reception Coordinator

Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting times in your life. This guide will help you to ask the right questions of your church and/or reception coordinator to make sure that they will providing you with the services that you need.

Questions For Your Ceremony Coordinator

Will you:

�§attend the rehearsal?

�§direct the wedding party as to their role during the ceremony?

�§line the wedding party up in the correct order?

�§distribute the flowers to the wedding party and special guests?

�§pin on the boutonnieres?

�§make sure that the wedding party looks appropriate before going down the aisle?

�§fix my veil and make sure my train is straight right before I make the most public appearance of my special day?

�§be available with pins, hairspray, and other emergency kit items that may be needed before the ceremony?

�§make sure the unity candle, taper candles, programs and any other ceremony needs are in place?

�§make sure that the appropriate person has the rings the day of the wedding?

�§confirm that the tables are setup according to our agreed upon diagram and that the correct number of chairs are at each table?

�§set up table numbers, favors, guest book and pen, toasting glasses, cake knife and server set, place cards and any other accessories or decorations?

�§make sure all of my vendors have arrived and set up and take care of all of the emergencies?

�§help me establish a timeline for the reception and cue us when it is time to perform each of the traditions?

�§line the wedding party up for the formal introduction and make sure that they all look their best before entering the room?

�§greet and direct guests as they arrive?

�§stay throughout the entire event and make sure that everything goes just as I have planned?

�§load gifts, toasting glasses, cake knife and server set, and any other accessories into the appropriate car to be taken home?

�§help me bustle my dress and remove my veil?

�§instruct us on how to cut the cake during the cake cutting ceremony?
