Universal Studios in Orlando

Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida is one of the many exciting theme parks. Universal Studios actually has two sides. One side is the well known Universal Studio Theme Park, while the other is the lesser known Islands of Adventure. There is even an entertainment venue called City Walk!

Universal Studios is an amusement park with a twist and a Twister! This is not your ordinary park with regular rides. Universal Studios offers adventure combined with shows and attractions. Some of the parks attractions combine rides with shows.

Universal Studios offers entertainment for children and adults. There are shows that are entertaining for all groups such as “Shrek 4D” which offers a 3D movie with interactive seats! At Universal Studios you can experience a tornado and an earthquake! “TwisterâÂ?¦Ride it Out” lets you experience a force of nature that has a cow blowing past you as well as things exploding into flames. “Earthquake” offers the experience of what an earthquake would feel like on a subway system. The unique way that the entertainment is provided let’s you be apart of the action and adventure.

Rides such as “Men in Black- Alien Attack” let you shoot at aliens while riding in a vehicle that spins you around for better shooting action. “Revenge of the Mummy” offers a chilling rollercoaster ride that takes you into darkness and throws all sorts of things your way! Hold on tight for chills and thrills.

Have you gotten over your fear of sharks? Let’s hope so, because on the ride Jaws you’re going to come face to face with the beast on more than one occasion!

If shows are more your style “Animal Actors on Location” may be something you would enjoy. This show offers a mix of humor and video and plenty of human interaction. “The Blues Brothers”, “Lucy- A Tribute” as well as a “Horror Make-Up Show” round up some of the shows you can see.

“Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone” offers treats for the youngsters in your group. A play land, shows and a coaster all add up to an exciting day for your kids.

Be sure to save room for lunch, dinner or snacks. There are a lot of great choices to be had, along with City Walk which is loaded full of delicious places to eat. There is no charge to go to City Walk, though you will pay a parking fee if driving. City Walk offers a Nascar CafÃ?©, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Hard Rock CafÃ?©, Emeril’s of Orlando and more! You can make reservations before entering the park. There are clubs to dance at, a movie theater to see shows at and plenty of shopping to be done!
