Mike Albert: Elvis Presley Impersonator
Mike Albert was born in Canton, Ohio. His school years were spent living on a farm, where his parents still live. Mike Albert has performed in concerts across the United States, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand. We are proud of fellow Buckeye here in Ohio. Mike Albert is always careful to remain faithful to Elvis Presley’s music and actions in his portrayal of Elvis.
Mike Albert’s show had its beginnings with Mike using sing-a-long tapes of Elvis hits. Mike Albert had won several major “Elvis” contests, and demand for his shows resulted in him putting together a seven piece Big “E” Band, to duplicate the sound Elvis’s band had in the Vegas shows and on the tours. Mike Albert’s talent was further exposed to audiences with an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show and being featured in six music videos on the national television show “A Current Affair”, with Maury Povich,
The vocal groups that backed Elvis the legendary Jordanaires and J.D. Sumner and the Stamps quartet have toured across the U.S., Europe and as far as Australia and New Zealand with Mike’s show. Mike Albert puts on a terrific show. I saw him perform a few years ago in Hillsboro, Ohio and I thoroughly enjoyed watching and hearing him. I never got to see Elvis as I was only 10 when he died. But seeing Mike Albert was a great experience and I felt like I was seeing Elvis perform. The crowd loved him also. Mike Albert has lots of charisma and he has a great ability to get the audience involved in the show.
Mike has a great voice and he is able to sing every type of Elvis music from 50’s, 60’s and 70’s rock and roll to the love songs, He also puts on very successful gospel and Christmas shows. Because Elvis had so many hits Mike Albert is able to keep the show fresh with an ever changing song line up.
