JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina

If you plan to visit the island of Oahu, don’t limit yourself to the high-rise hotels located in downtown Honolulu. While the downtown area offers the best in shopping, dining, and entertainment, and North Shore also plays host to an excellent cultural experience, one of the island’s most overlooked areas is Ko Olina. This secluded, gated “community,” located about 20 minutes from downtown, is home to the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa. This beautiful full-service hotel is sure to provide a memorable vacation experience for a host of reasons:

Private Beaches – The Ihilani Resort and Spa sits on private beaches reserved for the exclusive use of hotel guests and beach club members. The white sands are dotted intermittently with thatch umbrellas for shade, and cabana rental is also available. Guests can also rent water bikes, kayaks, and floats directly from the hotel. Vacationers looking to relax and play in a tranquil, private atmosphere will enjoy this contrast to crowded Waikiki and North Shore’s beaches.

Ko Olina Golf Club – This championship course, located adjacent to the hotel, was named one of Golf Digest’s “Top 75 Resort Courses in the US.” The challenging 18-hole course, designed by Ted Robinson, will be the golfer’s delight. Lessons and play can be arranged through the hotel concierge.

Dining – The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa has numerous dining options, from good old fashioned room service, to themed buffets, to burgers and salads. Healthy “Spa dining” alternatives are available on all menus.

Full-Service Features – You will never fill your own ice bucket at Ihilani. Internet access is available directly from your television, or at the convenient business center. A sundry shop and boutique are available for all of your needs, and rooms include fully stocked mini bars and refrigerators. Everything from air conditioning to lamps can be controlled from a keypad on your nighstand. When this resort says “full service,” they mean it!

Amazing Landscaping and Wildlife – You can feed stingrays and check out hammerhead sharks right in the hotel lobby. The grounds are beautifully manicured, with waterfalls and palm trees everywhere you look. Graceful black swan greet you at Ko Olina’s gates. It’s a beautiful place, even to already be on such a beautiful island!

Ihilani Spa – The resort’s on-site spa offers an array of treatments, from skin care to fitness programs.
