Reduce Side Effects of Chemotherapy and Radiation

The side effects of chemotherapy and radiation to treat cancer are numerous, annoying, aggravating, embarrassing, and difficult to deal with. Maitake strengthens the white blood cells, which in turns strengthens the immune system. Take 30 drops a day of the extract. To increase one’s calorie intake, take MCT and whey protein, MCT is a fat and can be obtained through Thin Oil, which comes in butter, olive oil, and garlic flavors. Taking 1 to 3 tablespoons a day of Thin Oil can help reduce side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, such as weight loss and loss of appetite.

Whey protein works well for those who have problems absorbing certain proteins and nutrients. To reduce the side effects of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation, take some Umeboshi Tea. Put �½ teaspoon of the kudzu powder in a bowl and combine it with cold water making a paste. Squash the paste, then pour one cup of hot water over it. Add �½ teaspoon of umeboski and �½ teaspoon of ginger, then pour the water into a small pot, and simmer on low for 30 minutes. Strain the mixture before drinking. Drink the tea twice a day, including one before breakfast. Green tea also works good to reduce nausea. Drink several cups a day or a 500 mgs capsule each day. Both Green Tea and Umeboshi Tea help reduce nausea by calming the stomach.
