Are Some Moms Obsessed with Imitating Celebrities?

In the society that we currently live in it seems that teenagers are not the only ones that are obsessed with the world of celebrities. More and more stay at home moms spend most of their days looking at celebrity moms and comparing themselves to them.

While this may just seem like an innocent hobby it can lead any stay at home mother down a very dangerous path. Let’s examine two of the main aspects that these moms tend to focus on. The first one is how thin celebrity moms look. Most celebrities are now into taking what is becoming quickly known as pregnancy photos. This is where they are naked or partially naked mostly exposing their belly’s.

Thanks to the technology of airbrushing photographers can make most of these celebrity moms look flawless while they are pregnant. To make matters even worse they come out looking pencil thin and beautiful after giving birth. The problem is that normal stay at home moms see this and what to achieve the same goal, often putting their health at risk and in some cases their children as well.

Instead of caring for their newborn baby like they should they spend too much time worrying about themselves. How to lose the baby weight so that they can wear the belly shirts and flaunt their figure to other moms who were not able to do the same. What many of these stay at home moms fail to realize is that many celebrities have the support of a personal trainer and a beauty team to help them look fabulous one week after giving birth to their new baby.

Of course that is not to say that there is anything wrong with a mom trying to get back into shape after she has given birth. But no one should expect to have instant results. Nor should you spend every waking moment trying to make sure you get that perfect figure back. Another thing that these moms who idolize celebrities like to focus on are their clothes. Instead of buying clothes for their baby they spend all of it on themselves. In some cases they even plunge their families into serious debt just so that they can place themselves above others. Why do so many women do this? Is it because they lack the attention they so desperately desire.

Believe it or not there are some women who have babies just because everyone else around them is having one. They hate the fact that another mother is getting all the attention, and they much rather the attention be on them. The problem is that once the baby arrives and the attention dies down, reality begins to set in. This is how so many moms fall into deep depression. Just try to remember that celebrities have the money to have everything done for them.

They can afford the nannies, the maids, the personal trainers, and even the belly tucks. So in order to prevent yourself from being like those women who have already fallen into the trap of despair and unhappiness by being obsessed with imitation celebrities, focus on your health and your baby. If you do this everything else will fall right into place.
