Sticky Versus Non Sticky

Ok, personally I tend to favor the non sticky variety of shiny lip gloss. I just do not like that oh so gooey feeling of you lips sticking together. The Revlon SkinLights Glosslights for Lips Translucent Gloss does have a tendency to get on my teeth right after I apply it. This is only a small problem though and can be avoided by applying only a small amount or checking your teeth occasionally in the mirror.

Color

Ok, you definitely want some color from your lip gloss. Personally dislike the watery color floating on your lips look. A good lip gloss, like either Neutrogena Lip Gloss Moisture Shine or Revlon SkinLights Glosslights for Lips Translucent Gloss, you want some real depth of color on your lips. Both Neutrogena Lip Gloss Moisture Shine and Revlon SkinLights Glosslights for Lips Translucent Gloss do have a good amount of color in them and both appear colorful on your lips. Although I bought the Neutrogena Lip Gloss Moisture Shine in a lighter color called Petal Shimmer it still adds color as well as the expected shine to my lips. The Revlon SkinLights Glosslights for Lips Translucent Gloss in Amethyst is a deeper color and also has some sparkling shimmer in it. This shimmer is nice and not too over the top. I like the look, but it does add a textured feel to the lip gloss. Overall both products do well in the color department. For a more natural look try the Neutrogena Lip Gloss Moisture Shine in Dizzy and for a more vibrant colorful look use the Revlon SkinLights Glosslights for Lips Translucent Gloss in Amethyst.
