Remember
One peaceful and beautiful autumn day,
Birds were singing and the children at play,
On a day such as this, like any other,
Many people lost their beloved father or mother,
Thousands of children cried out in pain,
When the twin towers met those planes,
All because of our beliefs of freedom were we branded,
Lives of the innocent the Terrorists demanded,
The tears, the pain, the crying shame,
Heaven is keeping track of the souls to blame,
But on this day of 9/11, a miracle, all the faces looked
the same,
For the ashes that swept across them all hid the
colors but not the names,
Despite the riots that our races have incited,
We know now that we are a family… a nation United.
