Do I like it here? Yes. The surroundings are ideal. And, the view is that of the Olympic Mountains. What’s not to like about that?
Country Meadows provides both independent and assisted living services and facilities for their residents. Residents live in charming cottages. There is 24-hour nursing assistance, if needed. Among the amenities here is an indoor swimming pool.
What I particularly like about Country Meadows is the dining area. It’s located in a large red barn, and is hard to miss. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a lodge with wood and country-style decorations everywhere. The atmosphere is very comforting. The dining experience is a restaurant-style type. There’s a circular table in the center where residents and guests can enjoy some fresh fruit and cookies. The red barn also houses the administrative offices.
I have experienced nothing but professional and compassionate service every time I have gone to this senior housing community located in Silverdale. Plus, they have excellent phone etiquette!
I know residents to have a variety of activities to partake in and keep them active.The Activity Director likes to rotate activities to keep residents happy. She likes to maintain a strong sense of community here. The residents seem to enjoy it as well.

Another senior housing community located on this Encore-owned property is known as Clearbrook Inn. This assisted living facility offers residents apartment housing. The building is eye appealing with architecture reminding me of a small mansion. The interior is bright, homey-appearing, and puts one at ease immediately. I have known the service to be very friendly, helpful, and compassionate.
When walking into this facility, on a clear day, you can see the Olympic Mountains. That’s one of the benefits of living in Silverdale, Washington.

Finally, the other senior housing community here is known as Northwoods Lodge. Located across from Clearbrook Inn, this community offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. This place has earned an unprecedented 7 zero deficiency survey scores in a row. That is an accomplishment in the Silverdale area. It’s an accomplishment anywhere in the industry, actually! There is a huge banner on top the front entrance letting visitors and residents know this. It is nice to see.
This place is unlike any ‘nursing home’ I have ever seen. It is beautifully maintained (inside and out), impeccably clean, and has superb service. I just found out that it is rated in the top 1% of skilled nursing facilities in the United States. Is that impressive or what? Visit this senior housing facility and your view of nursing homes will change for the better. The location in Silverdale, WA. makes it all the nicer!
I like the fact that they provide their residents with dining hour entertainment throughout the month. The residents love it!
