The unusual feature about the gallery is that many of the artists whose work is on display also have their studios on site. Some of these award-winning masters also teach the classes at extended times.

The gallery also has business and office space available for other kinds of meetings.

Gay Banowsky is one of the partners of the operation, having earned her masters degree in California as is Cecie Borschow, a mixed media artist who does experimental work. She paints watercolors from photographs she takes herself. She is also a member of numerous art organizations and has been extensively published and has won awards in national and international competitions. Pauline Caffrey, another partner, teaches classes in watercolors, acrylics, and in other areas at the Artists’ Showplace and Judy Campbell, a Texas artist, has garnered attention more recently because of her jazz pieces.

Lucille Carter, another partner, says her first love was painting. Having received many awards, she has taught many workshops.

Jane Cross, also a partner, is known for her drawings, having taught painting, drawing, and ceramics since the 1960s. According to the Gallery’s website, Cross sees art as a cure for aging mentally and combating boredom. She also is accomplished in poetry.

Judith Irwin, another partner, specializes in florals and interpretations of still life and landscapes and Sarah Joseph, also a partner, works with clays, having worked in watercolors for years. She welcomes any commission inquiries. Debbie Landa, also a partner, is known for her skyscapes, drawing on her travels around the U.S. and Europe.
