Previously known as the Capital Center, The magic is one of the most recently built movie theatres in the Prince Georges County, Maryland area. It’s surrounded by the a spacious outdoor mall, “Capital Boulevard.” The Boulevard offers terrific stores; places to eat, a place to read, places to chill out, and is located down the street of the Washington Redskins football stadium!
Behind the Capital Boulevard also is a Circuit City, Chucky Cheese, Chic-Fil-A, Sports Authority, DSW, Ice cream parlor and other house hold businesses that’ll keep you there for a long while.
As far as the movie theatre, The Magic is one of the most comfortable theatres in the city. Unlike those hard, ironing board seats at some of this area’s other location; The Magic is a huge theatre containing a safe environment, often surrounded by Prince Georges County Police.
Although it’s quite a wonderful theatre, displaying its huge cinema letters throughout the night, The magic can sometimes appear quite inconvenient with the limited amount of parking spaces outside the theatre. Not to mention, throughout the nighttime hours the outside theatre is often plagued by its share of juvenile trouble.

Located just off of the US50 route and across the street from Bowie town center lies the Hoyts. Not very different from the Magic Johnson theatres, the Hoyts carries its own distinctive profile in some sense. Just steps away from the front door, visitors have an option of choosing to stop and eat at one of its adjacent restaurants before entering the theatre.
On the inside of its huge complex, arcades, and hard-working cashiers that seem to keep the lines moving quite quickly. Theatre seats are comfortable and believe it or not it appears the Hoyt’s carries more silence throughout the feature presentation.
Just outside of the theatre across the highway rests the Bowie Town Center also includes an outdoor shopping mall and several new stores that’ll grab you’re attention. Best Buy is only a few blocks around the corner, and Sears and Hechts are located within the shopping center as well.
The Hoyts, for local travelers, is probably one of the most popular movie theatres within the area and possibly the most recommended from constant moviegoers because of its simplicity in quality.

Despite being several miles away from the actual Prince Georges County location, this may be the best movie theatre just miles down the Baltimore Washington parkway. Infact, when you factor in the size of its adjoining mall structure, the large variety in stores and the quality of the theatre itself, the drive is ‘No problema’.
Arundel Mills may very well be the best theatre within twenty or twenty-five miles within the beltway or I95. Several consumers come with the intention of only seeing a movie, but in addition add in shopping to their journey. What can you say? Arundel Mills is the place to be.
Regardless of the lack of vacant parking spaces, the mall and the trip itself is totally worth it. On the inside of the theatre, you see wall structures and old Egyptian style tile that gives you that feeling you’re too far away from home! The theatre is quite nice, comfortable, affordable and attains a different atmosphere than what several neighboring counties present. Not to mention, its known for its comfy-recline chairs. Out of the three selections, Arundel Mills is probably the best location to choose from.
Yes, Arundel Mills does indeed a flaw or two. Forget about parking! If you don’t arrive at an earlier time in the day, parking is a ______ you know what. Not to mention, depending on your knowledge of the mall, on the inside, one could spend a lifetime trying to locate the theatre.
There are several other movie location theatres’ to choose from. However, these three have been selected to be featured on Associated content because of their extraordinary differences amongst the rest.
