Hotel Guide: Lumberton, North Carolina

So you’ve found yourself in Lumberton, North Carolina? Well, this city is located in southern North Carolina’s Inner Banks region, and is located on the Lumber River. Thus, making this place an amazing location for beautiful views of the river. Lumberton was first founded in 1787 by John Willis, who was an officer in the American Revolution, and this city was originally a shipping point for lumber used by the navy. However, the real growth of this city began after the second World War. Seeing that this city has a huge history, it is of no surprise that this town has some really great hotels. Thus I have researched and reviewed the top three hotels in this city for your consideration.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Lumberton. This two-and-a-half-star hotel is located less than three miles from downtown Lumberton as well as the North Carolina Civic Center. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes complimentary wireless Internet access, which is available throughout the entire hotel. There is also full access to an outdoor swimming pool, and a complimentary continental breakfast available every morning, which features coffee and fresh fruit. This hotel has 105 guestrooms in its three-story hotel. All of the guestrooms come fully equipped with complimentary wireless Internet access, as well as furnished work desks, hair dryers, irons, and cable television with complimentary HBO.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Best Value Inn. This two-star hotel is located just off of I-95 in Lumberton, and is a definitely great hotel that doesn’t just stop at its location, but is also a great deal. There is also complimentary newspapers, which are available in the lobby of the hotel. This hotel definitely has it all if you are looking for a great hotel on a tight budget.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Howard Johnson Exp Lumberton. This two-star-hotel is literally adjacent to I-95 as well as it is only three miles from the Robeson County Museum as well as the Carolina Civic Center. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a complimentary Continental breakfast available every morning, as well as a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.
