Why I Love Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
At first I was reluctant to try the Magic Eraser, it looked so cheap and flimsy. I was thinking how could that little white sponge do all that the commercials were saying it could. But everyone that tried it was just exclaiming about how wonderful it was. And so when spring cleaning time came I just had to give it a try. So I sent my hubby to the store to buy some, and I would see what everyone was raving about.
I started on the walls. Since we have two young children in the home all the walls in our house are grimy from about waist level down. My kids just love to touch everything with their smudgy fingers and on white walls the dirt really shows. With just a little rub of the Magic Eraser the grim came right off. I could easily and quickly wash my walls, and they looked as if they had been freshly painted! Okay this is wonderful! So now I take it to the kitchen, and mind you I have the same sponge.
In the kitchen I have white tile as a backsplash around my counters and behind the sink and stove. The tile behind the stove gets splattered with food and grease and can get pretty grungy. So with just a little scrubbing I got the tile sparkling. I also used the Magic Eraser on the stove, refrigerator, and all the appliances. It cleaned everything just beautifully!
Now that sponge was worn out so I reloaded with a new one and went to the bathroom. With a family the bathroom can be a pretty scary place. Tooth paste dried and caked onto the sink, soap scum in the tub, and we don’t even want to say what’s on the toilet. The Magic Eraser cleaned everything up and the scary bathroom now gleamed.
So in just one evening and a couple of Erasers my house went from being well lived in to spick and span. My husband just laughed and said, “If that’s all it would have taken to get a clean house he would have bought me the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers a long time ago.” And I told him that they’re so easy to use that even a caveman like him could do it!
