Using aluminum foil is easy and you can wrap the aluminum foil around just about any kind of food. You can buy aluminum foil at a grocery store. Aluminum foil is easy to use and inexpensive. When you are done cooking with aluminum foil you can simply crumple up the aluminum foil and toss it in the garbage or recycling. That is all there is to cleaning up aluminum foil.

You can easily make potatoes over an outdoor fire with aluminum foil. Take one medium potato for each person you are feeding and peel the potatoes. Cut the potatoes up in pieces about an inch by an inch or you can slice the potatoes in slices. Take your potatoes that you have prepared and put them on the center of a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil. Make sure the potatoes fits easily into the piece of aluminum foil. Too many potatoes will rip the foil when you try to wrap the foil around the potatoes.

After you have your potatoes on the heavy duty aluminum foil you can add whatever you like to the top of your potatoes for flavor. You can put onions on the potatoes or chives. Salt and Pepper or garlic can be added to the potatoes pieces. You can even add another type of vegetable like carrots to the top of the potato pieces.

After you have your potatoes covered with flavorings you will need to put some oil or butter on the potatoes pieces. Then you gently fold the foil around the potato pieces so that the edges of the aluminum foil are folded two of three times so the potatoes can not fall out of the aluminum foil.

When you are done you should have a nice package of aluminum foil with potatoes inside it.

Put the aluminum foil pouch on a grill above a fire and let it cook for about a hour. You can gently turn the aluminum foil pouch over every fifteen minutes as the food is cooking. You should be able to hear a sizzle as the food is cooking.

After the pouch of potatoes has cooked about an hour it is ready to eat. Be careful that you do not get burned as you open the aluminum foil up to get at the potatoes.
