Easy Steps for this Homemade Wood Heart Picture Frame Project:
Step #1 Place the solid back piece of the picture frame on a sturdy work surface with the inside showing.
Step #2 Place the 2 wood paneling strips measuring 10-3/4 inches long X 1/4 inch thick vertically at the longest edges of the solid piece. Make sure the strip is flush with the edge.
Step #3 Place the shortest wood paneling strip measuring 8-1/4 inches long X 1/4 inch thick along the bottom edge. Make sure the strip is flush with the edge.
Step #4 The next step to make this homemade Wood Heart Picture Frame, is to use the wood glue to secure all 3 of the wood strips in place. Since they’re so thin, it’s a good idea to use wood clamps to hold them in place until the glue dries.
Step #5 Remove the wood clamps. Glue the piece of wood paneling that has the heart cut out on it squarely on top of the solid piece with the wood strips. Align both pieces carefully before you secure them together. Use wood clamps to hold them in place.
Step #6 Attach the hanger to the middle of the back side of the homemade Wood Heart Picture Frame.
Step #7 Carefully slide the piece of glass into the opening at the top of the wood frame. And, you’re done with this project!
