I’ve been looking to buy an electric corner fireplace. I checked them out at my local Home Depot, but $500. – $600. was way out of my price range. So, imagine my surprise when I walked into Big Lots and found a similar product for $249! Read this Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace Review and find out all about this product!

Why An Electric Fireplace?
With fuel oil prices rising every year, I decided an electric fireplace could add some heat to my home with less cost. Besides that, these units add a bit of style and warm ambiance to any room.

Product Description
The Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace I purchased has an imitation wood mantel with an American Oak Finish. The mantel is decorated with carved accents. The sales associate said they’re also available in white and in imitation brick. This product is also available with a straight-line mantel.

The electric fireplace insert features a 1,350 watt, 4,600 BTU electric heater and blower. It’s UL Approved. It needs no outside venting. The insert simply plugs into a standard, 3-prong, 120-volt outlet. The insert is steel with a black powder-coat finish. It has a glass front cover. When it’s on, you can see the realistic-looking, glowing logs and ember bed. To provide the fake fire, this product uses 2- E12 bulbs, which are included.

The Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace comes with a handy remote control that allows you to turn the unit on and adjust the heat to either the low or high settings. It also provides a dimmer button so you can control the look of the realistic-looking flames.

This product comes in a large carton and requires some assembly.

Easy Assembly
I had to laugh when I looked at the assembly instructions because, there are no words to instruct you, just drawings. Even if you’ve never put together any other piece of furniture, though, the average person can figure it out. The Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace comes with all the hardware you need, including a tube of glue and an Allen Wrench. There are eleven steps in the assembly process, involving 7 pieces of imitation wood plus the electric heater. The heater simply slides into the back of the mantle.

The finished product measures 42 inches wide, 28.5 inches deep, and is 42 inches high. The insert measures 23.5 inches wide, 10 inches deep, and is 21 inches high.

Usage Results
I don’t mind telling you that I could sit in front of my Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace all the time, just enjoying the cozy atmosphere. A family member said, “Gosh, you feel warm just by looking at those flames, they look so real!”

After using this product for awhile, I can’t find anything wrong with it. It puts out a nice warm heat, and it looks good too. It’s exactly what I was looking for!

Warnings
Naturally, the instruction manual warns about keeping pets and children away from the front of the Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace. It also warns about keeping combustibles, such as curtains, drapes, furniture, et cetera, at least 3 feet away from the front.

Conclusion
I highly recommend buying the Classic Quarters Electric Corner Fireplace. I believe it has a one-year warranty. So far, everything works fine. If it happens to malfunction, or I find a flaw, I’ll come back and give an update.
