How to Keep Pets Out of the Garbage

As the week moves along we find that our pet seems to favor the garbage. He seems to be attracted to it. It is quite frustrating when I catch my puppy in the garbage. He has the garbage scattered around the garage and it never fails that the neighbor’s dog seems to love helping him out. Between the two of them we have absolutely know table scraps left in the garbage.

As each week goes on we get more frustrated. I have asked around to see if there is some kind of product to use on the garbage to keep the puppy out. We tried a few different remedies but one seemed to work the best. This remedy will keep not only the puppies out, but also animals like raccoons, bears, and etc.

If you need to keep pests out of your trash such as puppies try following these easy to use steps. As you set your garbage out there will be no more picking up scattered garbage. Yes, I too, have awoken in the morning with a front yard full of scattered garbage. I also told my mom about this remedy, she told me that she didn’t think that any thing would keep the black birds out of her trash.

I told my mom that she had nothing to lose and that we would try it for one week. So we got the needed supplies and got busy before the black birds got ready to dig in again and I too got the stuff to try it. We both tried this and it did work great. We both repeat these steps every week to ensure that all types of pests stays away from our trash.

Would you like to try this remedy? If the answer is yes than grab the following items. First get a spray bottle and a bottle of ammonia. You can get the ammonia in a spray bottle but you don’t get quite as much. As you place your bags out to the curb, spray each and every bag with a dose of ammonia. The smell and taste will cause the pests, black birds, dogs, raccoons, and etc to stay out of the garbage.

Many other people recommended the use of moth balls but it was easier to use ammonia and it has less mess and less expense. Ammonia seems to last a lot longer than moth balls.
