The Waterman
In my college, boys and girls live in the same dormitory, on the same floor, but separated by only a large piece of frosted glass.
One day, when I was just going to the washing room, the waterman walked into the corridor, and checked whether there was any empty water barrel so that he could sell some water. Everything seemed all right. But what made me quite confused was that, without any empty barrel throughout the boys’ passageway, the waterman still walked into the depth, but went on scolding back.
When I was standing at the door of my room, I glanced at the ground glass subconsciously. It was only a shadow of a water barrel on the girls’ side!
